It was closed. Reopening under a new name March 28th. We weren’t the only ones that pulled up only to be disappointed. They should really update the website.

Travelled from Cochrane to Canmore and the Restaurant was not open. There was a sign in the window stating that they would be open in March. They should have posted this on there internet sight. Wasted our time.

We always stop for lunch on our way to Banff. The Poutine was always great (cheese curds direct from Quebec) but when they started to bring out the authentic Montreal smoked meat, we were sold for life.
This place used to be magic. Open for lunch and dinner. Perfect for some apres ski cheese curds or a late evening steamie. Now they're always closed. I don't know if the food's any good anymore... because they're never open. So disappointing.

I had the traditional poutine, steamed hot dogs and smoked meat sandwich. Everything was very good. We ate outside. I enjoyed all the Montreal Canadians history displayed in the restaurant.
