I have driven by this establishment for years and always told myself to go in a try it. Recently I decided to try a breakfast there. Do not be turned off by the 1950's decor and look the food is amazing. The wait staff is attentive and friendly but most of all cheerful! The food is piled high and delicious.... More

I go out of my way to seek out restaurants like this...old school, no nonsense, unpretentious..unfortunately this place's time has passed. Service was slow (aren't these places built on speed and quick turnaround) and food was very very mediocre

I've been coming to 3 Coins since my 20's and since I'm 51 now...that's a heck of a lotta Sunday mornings. Ok,admittedly sometimes some much needed hangover food :) It's that ambiance of old school greasy spoon and I swear it hasn't changed other than needed cosmetics. The food is what an epic breakfast should be as is portion size.... More

No first off this is not a glitzy place. It it somewhat retro and the establishment looks a little tired. Having said that, if you are like me, a fancy place is not a prerequisite for a good hearty breakfast. I have been going to this restaurant for probably 50 years. It has been around that long and therefore the... More

Went here for the first time last weekend, and I can now say that this will be my go to breakfast joint! Just like a greasy spoon type, but no grease. Everything we had was great, the sausage, eggs, milkshakes and pancakes. You can't go wrong. Great prices, $7.49 for a really large meal and the service was great too.

Excellent menu, great price, tiny place always busy. Wait can be long on certain days that are busy as there is only one chef the owner. It's awesome how he runs it all alone like that. He's go talent. Highly recommend this place for great home cooked meals!

My wife & I were in the Richmond Hill early Sunday afternoon, and were hungry for some home-town breakfast food. We love to eat at small local diners, since they seem to know what kind of food "the local want", and they usually have great tasting food. We were driving slowly up Yonge Street, and noticed a few blocks north... More

Any restaurant can be judged by the eggs benedict. This rates 4 out of 5. Pretty good and better than most. This place has ambiance, great prices and great food.
