Walked in and greeted like long lost friends after a day on the Canal. Mind you, it was our first time. The warm hospitality continued throughout our evening. The food was very good. Definitely a place to return to the next time in Port Alberni.

We were at Little Bavaria a week before Christmas and the place was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and friendly, and the food was just as we remember from travels to Germany, with similar menu and excellent quality.

This is a wonderful taste experience. The seafood schnitzel is my favorite with the white wine sauce.

Read about this restaurant so my husband and decided to have lunch there. We were driving from Tofino so we didn't know exactly when we would get to Port Alberni so we didn't make reservations. It turned out that we made good time and got to the restaurant at 11a.m. when they open. When we walked in, the waitress said... More

We have been here numerous times, and each time have been impressed. The food is amazing- they have a wide variety of options. The schnitzel is among the best that I have ever had. My daughter has food allergies and cannot have a lot of seasonings/ spices/ sauces, and the staff are great about making the food plain. The servings... More

This is my 'go to' restaurant whenever I have company in town. Servings are large, and everything is delicious. Their liver and onions are flavourful and tender. Seafood schnitzels are perfectly prepared and served. Platters for two are easily enough to feed three! The vegetarian plate is delicious and varied. Staff are friendly, professional and unobtrusive. This is one of... More

Unbelievably authentic bavarian cuisine. Portions are built for a 'healthy' appetite. Every menu item is delicious. A good selection of wines/beers....although tiny in size - there is no comparison to the excellent service by all who work here...highly recommended. ..

Great service. Very tasty food that seems authentic compared to Germanic/Austrian homes I have been a guest in. Lemon Chocolate cheesecake = delicious and made in-Store. Jaeger schnitzel, spätzle, and red cabbage are my goTo choices. YUM.

Real German food, interior and music. I loved the experience and had a great diner, the Jager Snitzel.
