Got there just after the advertised opening time, and the door was open, but they were not yet ready. Guy comes by saying he was called in to cover and was just getting the fryers warmed up. However, he let us sit and offered to put on the coffee while he worked on getting things set up. Waitress showed up... More

I really like the fish and chips in this restaurant however ithe restaurant could do with some TLC. The french fries are home made which I expect but don't always get in Fish and Chip shops.

Stopped in for lunch, 1pm Monday. Little place in Shoppers Drug Mart strip mall. Not busy, pleasant waitress. Had 2 pc Halibut 'n chips. Comes with coleslaw. No alcohol available. Ate inside, but take-out also available. Excellent batter on fish! Fries were crispy, & fresh...My 2 pc order ended up being 3 pc. Pleasant surprise! Could hardly finish it all,... More

Visited after 5 for dinner. Quite busy but we were able to find a table right at the door - awkward with people coming in and standing just behind you. The halibut was really good but the fries were over done and maybe 20 on the plate - quite disappointing since they say you can get a refill any time,... More

Tried this restaurant for the first time, and likely the last. The fish and chips were Ok, but for the the price Ok is not good enough. We had a $20 coupon that we paid $10 for from Island Daily deals, and even with that discount overpriced for what you get.

The Halibut tasted fishy (not like halibut). The batter turned soggy as soon as I added lemon juice. Not sure what the tarted sauce was, but it wasn't tarter sauce. I've never had fries before that were "mushy" inside. Didn't take advantage of the bottomless fries, they were not worth eating more. Very disappointed with both the quality and the... More

Good chips but the size of the fish is a bit small for the price. They do offer you more chips if you want which is rare to find in any fish and chip shop. Service is good and they make a great cuppa

As an English person, now permanently living in Canada, I miss proper fish and chips! As an English person, I demand they take down the Union Jack Flag from this place! This IS NOT "authentic English fish and chips" ! The chips were pitiful, crusty scabs and the fish tasteless. The batter was equally as tasteless, under-seasoned and over cooked.... More

Excellent fish and chips and BIG portions. The chips were some of the best I've EVER eaten, anywhere!! The only thing that could have been improved is the coleslaw, it was ho hum at best. I like fine shred coleslaw and this was quite chunky with a mediocre dressing. The place itself is very casual and basic. Could use a... More
