This was a great find a book store and coffee house in a great old building and a good cup of coffee to get me going on the long drive home.

Had a recommendation to go here and was very delighted. My lunch was so delicious and creative! Adult version of grilled cheese with green apple, ancient grains mustard, arugula and white cheddar with butternut squash pear soup. And the COOKIE! Chocolate chip candied ginger coconut. Loved the bookstore. Lots of local relevant books to add to your Golden experience. Perfectly... More

Best cafe in Golden definitely. Prices are good, lots of vegan and gluten free options, and great coffee and tea selection. Nevermind all the great used books available!

Loved the vibe of this little place. Pass through a new book store on the first floor to some stairs to reach the cafe and used book selections. They serve up a nice latte, and offer some fresh and tasty sandwich options that would make a great lunch. A few little tables to sit at and enjoy the cozy space,... More

The book selection was fun. They had new and old books. The coffee shop upstairs was great and had some good food options. Staff was very friendly. They also have backcountry ski maps and guide books.

If you love books, this is the place to visit for a nice cup of coffee. We enjoyed the view from above looking out over the downtown while going over the extensive library of books. Enjoy!

We stopped in after being at the hill for the day, and this place offered exactly what we needed. We were able to relax and browse through the selection of new and old books while we waited for our food to be prepared. The menu had healthy options at a good price point, and the paninis were not too large... More

I was passing through golden after a a mining meeting with Canadian timberframe homes and wanted to get lunch before driving to Banff. I asked the mother outdoor gear store employee for a unique place to have lunch and he directed me to the bookstore and told me there was a great little cafe upstairs. I love little bookstores to... I had two different baked good and loved both muffins--one with fresh peaches and another with zucchini and chocolate (my favorite). My traveling companion had a ginger carrot soup that he said was lovely. Charming relaxed place with slow but friendly service,
