Yeah it's not perfect and the East European waitress was hard to understand. The food was slightly better than average, the service was fine, and MOST importantly it wasn't McDonalds, DQ, Burger King etc. just so good to eat somewhere not defined by corporate greed.

In the style of the old diner, the theme of this restaurant takes you back . I had a club sandwich with fries. The turkey was actual turkey, the bacon was perfectly cooked and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. The fries were crispy and the gravy was good too. My sister had a burger and she said that was... Good value breakfast in an old-fashioned diner. Waitresses were super friendly and the breakfast selection was good though some of the fresh fruit was unavailable.

Tried the Chicken Clubhouse and the Chefs special sauce was amazing! At least a 6oz breast, lots of bacon, crisp fried cheese...no kidding...yumm! and the salad was very fresh with lots of pine nuts and cranberries. The service was friendly, efficient and helpful. Nice place and I felt quite at home even tho I was dining alone.

Great staff and service is on point. Breaky was good and well priced with endless coffee! It is a genuine old time diner and you get that feeling with all the memorabilia around you.

We come through golden once a year and I had never seen this diner and have a sweet spot for them (all time favorite being the Blackfoot Diner in calgary) and they completly measured up. We both had the lasagna, my partner had the soup to start and loved it, I had the ceasar salad, it was good, nothing special.... More

The look of this place is wonderful. It felt like being in 1950's America. I was very impressed with the decorations and the vibe of the place. I had a lot of fun here and it made eating an experience. I would make the effort to go back here again if I was in the area.

Decided to come for breakfast on a hockey trip and skip the hotel breakfast .. Defiantly should have had the hotel breakfast, my omelette was soup, hash browns hard cold and maybe recooked more then once my sons bacon looked deep fried and we questioned the server she very casually said well they baked it this morning they have to... It's charming and the food is fast. It's cheaper to eat out with a bunch of kids here than it is to go to DQ next door! It's classic diner fare.
