After Lunch at the Noodle Joint we stopped next door for an Almond Chai and specialty Coffee drinks. These were all very well prepared and we ordered to go as we were continuing our shopping trip along 5th street

Good little coffee shop that serves coffee the way you like. They also serve sweets. If you need anything bike, just ask @ the bike counter.

Stayed a few times for coffee - then I needed a small tool for my camera gear and was just given one that was left over! Saved me a nauseating trip to home depot! Also, the coffee is extremely good and the music is fantastic. So I suggest you get your coffee here and they will most likely also be... More

Coffee and cycling culture go together well. Especially here in BC. So this bike shop/cafe makes perfect sense, even if doesn't have the same coziness as a dedicated cafe. Stopped in twice during a recent trip to that part of Vancouver Island. Both times the coffee (Americano) was very good. And the berry muffin was excellent: they seem to understand... More

Rented bikes for the day of checking out Comox and Courtenay. Great way to get to Goose Spit park and 40 Knots Winery. Roads usually have room for cyclists and there are many paths. Would love to do more biking. Maybe next visit.

We came across this place in Courtenay off the downtown path. Not only do they sell bikes but do bike repairs while you enjoy a special coffee or tea from their snack shop. Great place to visit.

Great coffee house! I love this place. I have had Americans or lattes at Broken Spoke. This is the perfect place to get your caffeine!

It is a bit of a funny combination, and it works. While I've only been in once for bike related services, I've been back many times for the coffee. There are less than a handful of other places in town that I'd consider of equal or better quality - I do prefer lattes though, so if you're drinking something else... More

When my girlfriend said - meet me at the Broken Spoke for coffee - I thought it was a cute name. Then I was confused - it's a bike shop. But half of the shop is dedicated to a comfy little gathering spot with comfy chairs and a coffee bar. And I mean - a serious coffee bar, not just... More
