The sandwiches are amazing every single time. I love this place...make sure you go extra hungry, the sanwiches are built to feed giants.

Decent coffee and a range of egg dishes. The Wrangler, with eggs, beef, mushrooms, onions and peppers and cheese was delicious. Not necessarily a bargain st $14 but very good.

Stopped in for lunch, service was fast and friendly. Food came out quick, presentation a bit bland but sandwich was very tasty, and huge, in fact enough for two lunches as I got half to go. I recommend it , just wish they would turn the heat up we were cold sitting there with our jackets on.

If you want a great huge sandwich this is the place to go. It's a small restaurant but the sandwiches are really big and great flavour. All home made with the meat cooked there, I don't know if you can get a better sandwich in Campbell River.

We are glad to have stopped and taken a look around Campbell River and this place was just a perfect spot for a coffee break. We had sandwiches, hot drinks and soup - all delicious and more than we could eat. Definitely a good choice for a break on our journey and we would go back if we are in... More

If finding a place where the locals hang out is a good reference, then Shot In The Dark is your place. Ask folks in Campbell River where to get a coffee and they often name this mainstay. Comfortable and pleasant atmosphere with local art on the walls. Oh, the coffee is good.

We've been here many times over the years and have always liked it. Good coffee and huge sandwiches, plus many other menu items worth checking out, especially the soups. On one occasion we found the chicken in our sandwich to be dry and difficult to eat, but that's probably the only time we've has an issue with the food. Overall... More

Food was good, portions large. The wait was a bit as everything is made from scratch- would recommend going as long as you don't need hot food in 3 mins- which we did not.
