Green beer and fish and chips who can't be happy with that! The best part is fish and chips are 2-4-1 on Fridays. So many beer options even local brews. Bring a friend to take advantage of the 2-4-1 and your $7.50 dinner will taste even better.

We have visited this place twice and not happy with our visits. We did St Patty's day 2017. Owner was present and we had a fantastic waitress! Fun, Friendly, hilarious and great food and drink to be had!

Our family went to the Old English Pub in Gananoque last week and had their Fish and Chips. The amount of food was excessive, delicious, well served and the price was right. They had a great special on, 2 for price of 1 with their Cod. I had the halibut and so did my grand daughter. We all left totally... More

We stopped here on our drive from Mont Tremblant to Toronto. Very good food and service. Shepherd's pie (lamb), Caesar salad, fish (cod) and chips, rice pudding and coffee. If you are near this restaurant during meal time, give it a try. Didn't order beer (driving) but they have good choices.

Tried this pub for the first time. The pub has a cozy atmosphere. My waitress was efficient and cheery. Good selection of burgers and other pub type foods. My dinner was delicious and the price was good. Nice selection of beers. I would definitely eat here again.

The only thing that is "old english" about this place if there is a 80 year old english guy in the back cooking the food...because service is sloooowww. Had a reservation with a larger group...half people were done eating before I got my food...which did not come in the order I asked for. 20 minutes waiting on a glass of... More

My husband and I went to the Old English pub for lunch as part of a day trip to Gananoque. We were charmed by the décor that was closest to a traditional English pub in Eastern Ontario (according to my British husband). We also were impressed by the choice in the menu of many pub favourites. In the end, I... More

Don't expect to find British beer brands like Boddingtons, NewCastle, Tetleys etc.., here on tap or in a can or Bottle..In fact if you like Craft Beer this is the place for you. If you are like myself and like a good British or Irish Pub this is not the place for you either... First time in my life I... More
