Maren Anna is situated in the harbor of Sørvågen. They serve delicious Norwegian meals with a french inspiration. The fish is heavenly. I had both cod (skrei) and halibut (kveite). If you are to eat at only one restaurant during your stay in Lofoten, this should be the place!

Well, the title says it all. Delicious local food, done according to traditional receipes, but with a French twist. I can warmly recommend the Dry Cod as a Main!

We had a lovely lunch. Jean Matisse, the French waiter really knows his job and how to talk about flavors. I learnt about "beurre blanc" that day. We came back for dinner another day and it was also very good. For those that do not eat fish there was also a choice of juicy beef steak or chicken salad.

Didn't expect to find such a fabulous seafood restaurant in such a small, out-of-the-way place. The chef was off-duty but luckily the manager, Annette, was previously a chef here for many years and did a spectacular job with our courses. We enjoyed the fish soup (at this time of year with shrimp, mussels, and local fish) as well as the... More

Really nice place, we ordered the fish of the day and the local speciality Boknafisk, everything was good and fresh, highly recommended for a lunch stop if you are visiting the villages of lofoten islands.

I tried their bacalao and it was just great. I like the fact that the restaurant is placed over the water, so you can have a glass of wine paired to your food on the sunny terrace.

Although we didn't have any other dinner experience in lofoten I could recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner. The menu is local with a French twist. Clear cosy restaurant. Friendly staff. Acceptable prices for Norway.
