Stopped in for a quick breakfast and cup of coffee before departing Rivière Du Loup. Very welcoming - so welcoming in fact that we decided to stay rather than do take out. Coffee was great. Lots of different choices for food (baked goods and cooked breakfasts) all which was very good. The owner went out of his way to make... More

After an overnight in Rivière-du-Loup we needed breakfast and most important COFFEE!!! They roast their own and it was so good we bought a bag of beans for home. Super taste and Strong without being bitter. Hopefully it will soon be available on-line.

Quaint café with delicious FRESH food (including vegan options!), excellent coffee (fair trade!) Knowledgeable staff, we were greeted bilingually and the service was very quick. We couldn't have asked for a more polite, pleasant experience, highly recommended!

I am a student who is in RDL to learn French and the staff at this cafe are extremely friendly and patient! I was able to have a wonderful conversation and it is a really nice atmosphere. Also I really like the food and drinks! There are plenty of options if you are vegan or gluten free as well.

Stopping en route from Ottawa to New Brunswick. Great coffee and friendly, helpful staff. I will definitely be going back to this place next time passing through.

We stop here regularly when we are in town, the meals are consistently good. Soup, salads, home made pizza, sandwiches. Always fresh and made in house.

I really like Riviere du Loup and it was great to go to Cafe De La Brulerie De L'Est for a fabulous double espresso (short) and soft boiled eggs with a wonderful multi grain toast. The staff was very helpful with suggestions for dinner spots.

Easy to miss but worth trying. Great coffee and friendly service. Only two minutes from the Parc des Chutes, which has nice walks if you want to work up a thirst first!

The coffee was good, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and it was a comfortable place to sit and relax. The signs with the business name are a little small... I drove by it twice and didn't realize it was what I was looking for.

En route from Nova Scotia to Quebec City-- we stopped here for a quick late lunch. We were having trouble finding something open on the Monday of Fete Nationale. We barely spoke French and they barely spoke English- but between us, we worked out some really tasty sandwiches with super fresh salads-- and how to use their WIFI! :) It... More
