A friend of mine discovered this gem a few years ago and so thankful she did. I now eat here every time I'm in the area. Have gone several times over several years and have always had great service and more importantly GREAT food. This is to date the best fish and chips I have had and crave it when... More

Three of us stopped in for lunch and each of us had the halibut and chips with coleslaw. Fish was very good. Fries average. I didnt care for the cole slaw but the other 2 guests enjoyed it. I just found it bland. Nice setting. Pleasant surroundings. The cod and chips were all you could eat. The people next to... More

We hadn't been there in a few years. Glad we decided to give them another try. There were 4 of us and we all ordered something different. Everything from appies to desert were great. Our waitress 'Cherie' was fantastic. She gave us great service and we all had so much fun with her. Best dinner out in a long time.... More

We ordered takeout. Please phone to ask about pricing. Their online menu is old, has spelling errors and is not formatted for mobile phones...it should really be deleted or updated! We ordered 2 pc Cod chips takeout. Comes wrapped in an abundant amount of paper, so if its wrapped too long it will get soft and lose its crunch! Eat... More

A group of 6 for a birthday dinner. One of the group had been before but all of us were tourists in Qualicum. The menu looked great so we made a reservation for 6:30 PM on Easter Sunday. Drinks were ordered and mine was a Kilkenny. The server came with the tray and told me they didn't have it but... More

We stopped here after a cold and wet day of birding. It was very quiet and we were the only table but the food was excellent. We both had the ling cod fish and chips and I also had the chowder. Both were fresh and the portions are big! Service was great - no complaints at all. Very happy to... More

It was a very bad experience. My wife and I went out for her birthday lunch. We were in Qualicum Beach for the first time and hoped that it would be good. Unfortunately, it turned mediocre very fast. The scallops were microscopic, overcooked and bland. I had the oyster burger and it was super fishy, the batter was greasy, the... More

Hi Patrice and Alison, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your opinion and experience. Sadly you were actually served by the owner that day and I remember you very well and your dishes, so allow me to actually leave an honest response to your inaccurate review. The oysters are fresh each week out of Fanny Bay as... More

Out for a drive and had noticed this restaurant a few times as we drove by so decided to stop in for lunch. It is quite a pleasant restaurant with an English flair. My wife had fish and chips - good size order, but the fish was rather tasteless. I had a beef pie which was pretty good. Good size... More
