This is a nice little restaurant with good food. They offer a nice selection of home cooked meals and really good desserts. Just around the corner from the Days Inn, they're open late and a great place to refuel on some good food.

This is a hidden gem. Good food, fantastic friendly service, and one of the most unique meals ever -- Chicken Salad topped with Poutine... Surprisingly not bad!!! Thumbs up - a nice change from standard highway fare...

My girlfriend and I stopped in for a late lunch as we drove though the area on the way from St.John to Quebec City. It was a great little "nothing fancy" diner with an excellent local vibe. We both had the chicken salad and poutine. Was a pleasant meal and portions were HUGE! Bon appetite

We've been stopping here for years and always enjoy the food ... Home cooked, simple and delicious. Also right off the highway ;)

The hotel clerk at the Days Inn recommended this diner because of its proximity to the hotel. That was actually the best thing it had going for it. The service was super friendly and portion sizes were good, but there is nothing else to commend the restaurant. I had a hard time finding anything on the menu that appealed to... More

It was amazing. The service was incredible. The other customers were fun and cheerful and all applauded the meal they had just eaten. Quite a few ate here frequently, others stopped here every single visit they made to Nova Scotia. The reviews were totally accurate. The food was very tasty, nicely presented and filling. The staff were AMAZING. Just so... More

Staying at the nearby Days Inn and this is the only restaurant nearby. Located at the side of a derelict gas station prepossessing it ain't. Inside a return to the 1970s with formica tables and plastic chairs. The food itself is also a return to that era. A basic menu of chicken, seafood, burgers is large and I was served... More

An excellent example of why one should listen to the front desk clerk for dining recommendations. So . . . 9pm on a Saturday night, a nine hour drive from Ontario . . . where to eat? This little place was very close to the motel (Days Inn) and still open. The alternative - McDonald's or similar - a 10... More
