Nice ambiance, good service. Restaurant was full. For starter we had the melted brie and a fois gras hamburger: nice but portions were small. For main course: pasta with prosciutto/garlic/roquette (tasted good) and pasta with pesto/goat cheese (too creamy). Recommended by local.

Food is great, not to expensive. Atmosphere is nice. A bit noisy. The staff is nice . Breakfast only on weekends.

Best sitdown resto in Alma, Daily lunch specials always good, and many times a great surprise. Diner also very good.

Great: food, pretty good; the interior is quite neat. Not so good: had to wait for our order for a very long time; no menu in English; very noisy, it was hard to carry a conversation.

Though most tables were reserved for a little later, they squeezed us in out on the patio for an early dinner. Homemade pasta, crispy french fries with the specialty burgers and a list of local micro-brewery beers. Friendly staff and great soundtrack (a Beatles album!)

While travelling through Alma on the Veloroute, we decided to head into town to try this place for lunch based on its interesting website. The place was packed when we got there as there was a large group celebrating a retirement. We got seated after 10 minutes and chose the Menu du jour. Three courses at a bargain $12.17. Unfortunately,... More

We stumbled on the town of Alma while driving in the region, and were lucky enough to visit le Café du Clocher. The food was simple but outstanding, and our server (Pierre-Luc, I believe?) was warm, friendly and attentive. I'd recommend this restaurant enthusiastically.

Had lunch there a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it . Service is fast and price is right for good quality food.

Dinner reservation for a group of 12. Friendly welcome, menu and beer selection were explained within 5 minutes of seating. Beer selection is one of the best in Alma, with 2 draught from Micro du Lac. Decor is nice but the restaurant is very loud. Menu is extensive. We had mainly fresh pasta dishes, burgers and sandwiches. Taste is there... More

We were located in the bar section of the restaurant. The atmosphere was great, soft background music, excellent service and food. Family friendly.
