4 of us came, just 2 degrees outside and yet the heating was off as it is now summer! With few customers in the large room felt very cold. The choices were £18 for 2 courses, but the 2 vegetarians with us had only one option for each course. My scallops were tasty but did come with an £8 supplement... More

We called in here as we was passing. We'd thought it was a simple country pub with 'pub' type food but it was far from that. Real attention to detail in the food which looked as good as it tasted. I had the chicken liver pate with caramelised onions then braised ox cheeks, my partner had mushroom ravioli then confit... More

This is the first time we had eaten at the Daffodil and I must say was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were lovely and the food was top class, beautifully presented and the best steak I have had in a very long time. For the first time ever I came away feeling well fed and surprisingly not bloated which was... More

We went here when we got engaged in July 2014. The food was stunning, and the service very good. We spoke briefly with the owners/managers who were very lovely people. Visited again this January and it was exactly as we remembered it. The food was out of this world and the service was very good. Would very much recommend this... More

We have eaten at The Daffodil on several ocassions and have always really enjoyed. The food is the best you will find anywhere and the staff are very welcoming. A big plus for us is that the bar area is dog friendly. Looking forward to our next visit.

The hosts of our stunning little B&B in New Quay (Ffynnon-Feddyg) recommended The Daffodil to us as somewhere special. They weren't wrong! This beautiful restaurant has some wonderful views over the picturesque open countryside and, providing the weather is good you can sit outside on the open decking area. The service was brilliant with and the waitresses very pleasant. There... More

We went to The Daffodil as treat for our wedding anniversary. Lots of people had told us how good it was. The minute we walked through the door we knew we had come to somewhere fantastic! I can only say that everything lived up to what we had been told! All the staff are very friendly, the service second to... More
