This restaurant is hit or miss. I have been there and the food was very good, other days very poor. Sometimes the veggies are fresh sometimes from a bag of frozen food. The hot and sour soup can be very good or not. It really depends on the cook of the day. The staff is very friendly and the service... More

I hate giving this restaurant a negative review because the staff was so nice. But I have to warn people that if they want good Chinese food, don't go here. Obviously the food choices are limited while you're in Pemberton, but I was not a fan. The food was quite flavourless and the other items that my buddies ordered looked... More

Ordered the sweet & sour pork on rice which was seemingly ok but the next day I got food poisoning... Will not be visiting again.

We couldn't find too many places open at this time of year, so took a chance on this 'Chinese and Western food' joint - something I usually avoid. The menu is extensive and appears reasonable, BUT, the food was terrible. The 'fried' noodles (chow mein) were cold and just boiled, with no visible chicken, and the chicken stir fry was... More

Located nearly the Town barn, by the railroad, this is a handy cafe/restaurant serving Chinese and Canadian food. We had a delicious Thai Seafood Fried Rice and good old fashioned hamburger. Both were very tasty and freshly cooked. Staff friendly and helpful.

I'm generally wary of any restaurant that advertises '... authentic Cantonese, Szechuan and Western dining..." So I expected indifferent, greasy mall food with too much soy sauce and few greens. Boy, was I wrong! The chow mein was light and understated, the prawns were juicy and many, and the broccoli with two kinds of mushrooms was absolute umami bliss. The... More

We were visiting the area with friends, who know the owners personally. The greeting and service were very warm. The food was not particularly interesting. Everything was somewhat colorless though tasty. It was hard to find chicken or vegetables in the chicken chow mein. The sweet & sour pork was just bits of fried meat in what tasted like a... More

Very good authentic Chinese food, and good courteous service in Pemberton Villiage, at a reasonable price. We enjoyed the Sianpore Fried Vermicillie, and Beef with Black Beans,in Schechuan sauce(Spicy).

I was surprised by the poor reviews. We had excellent made to order hot and sour soup. The menu gives a meat or meatless version, the first time we have been offered this option. A small servings was plenty for two. Then we had the tofu with mixed vegetables in a spicy sauce that was quite good. It came just... More
