Ian and Lou were incredibly helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help my son and I. We had a drink and a very pleasant chat with them. We'll be going back there I am sure and would thoroughly recommend a visit.

We stayed in Wetton for 3 nights over Easter and visited the pub each evening. It's a lovely traditional country pub serving a good selection of beers. We didn't eat in the pub but the food looked really tasty. There is a really warm, welcoming atmosphere in the bar and we would thoroughly recommend a visit!!

A great local pub welcoming walkers with dogs. Great ale and whisky selection and lovely garden to drink in. Highly recommended mid walk stop.

Visited at the end of a few days away, following a walk to Wetton Hill and Thor's Cave. Very warm welcome and lovely comfortable surroundings including real log fire. Very good beers - guest ale (Storm) excellent! Did not eat - but food looked good. A few local crafts also sold. Felt right at home and didn't want to leave.... More

Called in Easter Monday at teatime after walking the dales all day. Was greeted by a friendly landlord. There was a good choice of beers and a decent selection of home cooked food. The chicken nuggets proved to me a real winner with my daughter, so much so we returned two nights later. Thankyou.

Accommodating staff, dog friendly, warm and relaxed atmosphere with a simple non-complicated menu (standard pub food). We really enjoyed having dinner here - the food was nice but the general feel of the Royal Oak Inn was really pleasant!

Well this pub is ideal to serve the tranquility of wetton. Situated next door to three local church and old vicarage, it's a camera real beer establishment with at least 3 real ales on the pumps at any one time and decent locally produced craft draught lager too. Food is good wholesome stuff at a reasonable price, however some people... More

We booked a meal at the Royal Oak whilst on a short break. On arrival, we were greeted with friendly service, and were extremely well looked-after throughout. The food was amazing! One of the best steaks I've had, followed by a deliciously light sticky toffee pudding. Would highly recommend popping in if you're in the area!
