Excellent service and lovely food in this smart restaurant. The bar on the ground floor downstairs serves food from a desperate menu, and has comfortable vintage furniture. The upstairs is very spacious and airy, with great views of the canal. Works well as a romantic...More

Came here for a six course New Years Eve tasting menu and it was excellent. All the courses were very well presented and really tasty all washed down with lovely wine. Expensive but worth it.

Supper for 2, soup, stake & salad, bottle of vino, view over the harbour, twinkling lights. No intrusive music, just chat. Prompt unintrusive service. 10/10.

Not sure I could walk the distance in 10 minutes. It would probably take me 20 but it's an easy walk.

I would have thought you would be okay as there is upstairs and downstairs seating and it is never overly busy but I would still try to reserve for a large party if possible.

I would say that Severnshed next door is a better drinking place; it has a larger balcony overlooking the water so if it is a nice sunny day/evening it's lovely.
