Good value, tasty breakfast - I have also been for supper and similar applies. The décor and 'other amenities' are somewhat basic but clean and functional.

We found the Primrose Café today whilst visiting Clifton. It was really busy but the staff managed the constant flow of customers brilliantly, they were well organised, professional and charming. Once ordered we didn't need to wait very long for our delicious brunch, Really enjoyed the veggie monty. Highly recommend!

This was recommended to us for a lunch time treat and that it sure was. The location was quaint with the option of sitting in or alfresco. It was a lovely afternoon so we sat out. I had the deluxe fish finger sandwhich which was gougons of salmon with salad in soft fresh granary bread. It was probably the nicest... More

Visiting family in Bristol, us lot from North Yorkshire stumbled across this café whilst looking to have breakfast prior to our zoo visit. We chose it as it was busy (as opposed to other places nearby) and we've since been told it is THE place to go! However although my bubble & squeak breakfast was v tasty, my partner did... More

Great little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Not a huge lunch range but the croque monsieurs are fantastic! Great range of teas and homemade cakes too make this a great place for a quick lunch. Staff very friendly and service very prompt. Will be making this a regular stop when in town.

This cafe has a reputation as being one of the best in Bristol, and it is! It also has a reputation as being one of the most busy, which was the case. The cake slice was exceptionally good :)

A great spot for a bite in an out of the way area. A kind of hippyish feel to this place although I'm far from a hippy and very much enjoy visiting. I like to make the occasional special trip of 30 miles one way to visit but not as often as I would like. can be quite busy at... More

Our British friends took us to lunch at the Primrose Cafe, and we absolutely fell in love with the food and service. I ordered Belgian Waffles with yogurt, red berries and maple syrup. It was quite light and refreshing. I subsequently craved one every morning after that breakfast. My husband ordered smashed avocado on sourdough toast with roasted tomatoes and... More
