Myself and my family booked a table for 10 and paid a deposit. When we all arrived we received a lovely welcome on the front door that the place is closed until further notice. Not a single phone call from Simon Crawshaw to inform us....More

Stopped by late afternoon just as they were about to stop serving lunch and the chef put his hat back on and rustled us up two very nice - albeit pricey- burgers. No cider on draught but does allow dogs.

We popped in during the evening and following day! The Sunday lunch was absolutely beautiful and the service was fantastic! The overall atmosphere of the pub is lovely and appears very clean although decor could be updated! Definitely recommend!!

Situated in a valley surrounded by the Chilterns, this pub is situated in a superb location for lovely countryside and red kites. Food is of a high standard for a gastro-pub. Being ultra critical it probably puffs itself up to be a bit more than...More

Great views, nice decor and the garden had some great touches. The best part is this place is by some great walking trails and the dog can come into the garden. Food was good

Description
Set in the natural splendour of the Chiltern Hills, The Three Horseshoes Inn is a quaint foodie destination set inside a free house that dates back to 1745. With the flagstone floors, blackened beams and inglenook fireplaces still intact, The Three Horseshoes restaurant has been reinvented as a stylish hub of home-cooking and hospitality that has been a hit with everyone from locals to celebrities such as Dame Judi Dench and Jay Kay. The unpretentious restaurant has an airy, boutiquey atmosphere and signature dishes such as the free range pork and smoked bacon terrine with fig chutney and the fillet of sea bass in a ginger, garlic and chilli dressing have become legendary in epicurious circles.
