Had a really lovely meal here with friends. The food was really nice, fresh and tasted great. Live lobster and crab in the tank. The only down side was it’s a little on the expensive so wouldn’t be a weekly visit!

We walked over to Swanpool beach from Falmouth and stumbled upon this quaint little seafood restaurant right by the sea. We arrived right in the middle of a busy Saturday lunchtime so had to wait for a table for about 10 minutes. It was worth...More

We visited this restaurant for an evening meal. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The menu was varied (not just fish/seafood) and had something for everyone. Fresh crab and lobster were available and descriptions of where the fish was sourced were written on the...More

Great little restaurant with friendly staff and great food. There is a great view of the bay - pity it was a miserable day, but still great views. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly return next visit

By chance we came across this restaurant and booked a table for an evening meal - what a find - the food was great - we all had different dishes and enjoyed. However, my special platter was simply sensational. Will be back.

Where do you start, the service was excellent, pleasant and friendly. We had lunch and selected the fish and chips option, the fish was absolutely beautiful and that batter was out of this world. We have frequented the Magpie Cafe in Whitby, which is famous...More

We are from Canada and were on a bus tour with Rabbies. Hooked on the Rocks was recommended to us by our son who lives in Cambridge and has friends in Falmouth. The night we ate there, the restaurant was short-staffed and apologized to us...More

Description
Lazy lunches. Decadent dinners. Sublime shellfish. Hooked on the Rocks is a quick walk away from the bustle of Falmouth town and is all about beautiful, relaxed and fun dining experiences. We overlook Swanpool Beach, across Falmouth estuary and over to Pendennis Castle and St Anthony's Lighthouse. It's a spectacular setting whatever the weather, and we love to share it with everyone that visits. It's a view that inspires. And it definitely inspires the team down here every day and influences both our menus and our ethos.Hooked on the Rocks is the place for the best Cornish seafood and shellfish. Our chefs focus on the freshest fish, using whatever our fishermen have to offer that day. And we make sure it's sustainable too. We love Cornwall and we love fish and our aim is simple: to serve up great dishes that show off Cornish produce in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our ever-changing platters are a great way to try local shellfish, our crab and lobster tank is an old favourite for crustacean fans, but we always make sure we've got a few steaks on, and vege options too.Hooked on the Rocks is great for a morning coffee in the sun, a long and lazy al fresco lunch, or the perfect way to end a hard day out and about.
