Apart from the location of the restaurant there isn't really anything good we can say about it. We booked for lunch and had a call to ask if we would like to sit outside to which we said yes. When we arrived we were encouraged...More

So good we went back next day. Loved this restaurant. The location, views and ambience rekindled fond memories of Australia. The food was delicious especially the sea food in Thai Broth and the scallops. Service was great especially as they were so busy. Lovely to...More

After walking 10 miles that morning, my friend and I stopped here for a quick bite. Not expecting much from a beachside cafe we were quite surprised by the quality of the cuisine. We started with crab fritters, which were delicious with fresh cilantro, but...More

We had a nice light lunch of tapas. We sat outside overlooking the sea and beach which was lovely. The prices are quite high but you're paying for the location not just the food. Good service too.

I think that i had the smallest most expensive steak in Falmouth and it seemed somewhat chewy. I've had better. Disappointment followed this visit. The prices have risen substantially and the food is now probably the most expensive in the area and not the very...More

We have eaten here some six times over the years. We have better memories than this lunch. We shared the apparently popular seafood casserole in Thai green broth. The mussels and prawns had seen better days and were not freshly cooked. The vivier choice was...More

Despite a very busy restaurant, front of house team did a great job and we were dealt with professionally and made to feel really welcome. The food was superb - very well presented, great quality of ingredients, and reasonably priced. The only slight criticism I...More

Lazy lunches. Decadent dinners. Sublime shellfish. Hooked on the Rocks is a quick walk away from the bustle of Falmouth town and is all about beautiful, relaxed and fun dining experiences. We overlook Swanpool Beach, across Falmouth estuary and over to Pendennis Castle and St Anthony's Lighthouse. It's a spectacular setting whatever the weather, and we love to share it with everyone that visits. It's a view that inspires. And it definitely inspires the team down here every day and influences both our menus and our ethos.Hooked on the Rocks is the place for the best Cornish seafood and shellfish. Our chefs focus on the freshest fish, using whatever our fishermen have to offer that day. And we make sure it's sustainable too. We love Cornwall and we love fish and our aim is simple: to serve up great dishes that show off Cornish produce in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our ever-changing platters are a great way to try local shellfish, our crab and lobster tank is an old favourite for crustacean fans, but we always make sure we've got a few steaks on, and vege options too.Hooked on the Rocks is great for a morning coffee in the sun, a long and lazy al fresco lunch, or the perfect way to end a hard day out and about.
