Selected the lunchtime two course menu and the food was great and only gripe drinks expensive and background music annoying. Would visit again

It's a fun place to eat and the food is prepared with a level of care that is perhaps missing in some of Falmouth's other eateries

We ordered 4 portions of the cod dish with various sauces. I have been here a while back and remembered perfectly cooked fish. On this occasion and think the restaurant was busy and meal came out a little cold and the batter was tough. Still enjoyed the meal just think for the price you pay. I would expect a perfect... We were passing through Falmouth and stopped off for lunch not knowing Rick Stein had a restaurant here. We had not booked but although quite busy they found us a table immediately. We shared a thai fish cake to start and we both selected the Indonesian fish curry to follow. Both courses were yummy and a nice surprise. We washed... More

We had had a meal in the upstairs fish bar when the restaurant first opened and it was fabulous. Things have changed a lot since then but various friends have said it was good and we've been meaning to go for ages. Went a day or two ago with some friends on holiday in the area having hyped it up... More

Food was ok - not bad but was expecting a lot better. Had to pay for a bread basket that should come as standard. Expensive for what it is.

My husband had plaice, the batter was nothing... More

i am not going to lie but my local fish and chip shop serves better food. I had plaice as they had run out of cod before 21:00. The batter was far too greasy and the fish was served in 2 halves one of those being more batter than fish. The service was ok but no better. Drinks were overpriced... More

It's an expensive fish bar right on the sea front but worth every penny! I was eating alone on a works trip and was made very welcome by the staff - would go back!
