Dave Haines one of the ferrymen recommended Papa Nino to us, we ordered fillet steak with peppercorn sauce & I had the Stilton & mushroom, the steaks were huge, charred, tender and delicious. The chief & front of house were welcoming and the Resturant has...More

It's like fast food! Cooked in advance, no time to relax, and really tasteless. Our tuna steak was grey and the awfull taste was cammouflaged by a cheap sweet sour sauce. The mussel pasta was a joke for seafood lovers. if this is italian food...More

Read a few good reviews of this place so thought we'd give it a go. Really wished we hadn't. Probably the worst food we had in our week in Looe. We should have complained but just wanted to get out of the place as soonas...More

We visited Papa Nino due to the reviews previously noted on TripAdvisor in options for vegans. I recently became dairy intolerant, so dining for me can prove tricky. To say this restaurant is suitable for vegans is slightly stetching the truth as every dish on...More

Very nice small restaurant worth a visit. Large portions so could not eat all. Staff lovely and friendly. I advise booking.

We ate here twice during our stay in looe and the food on both occasions was amazing. The portions are huge and the seafood was so fresh it was an absolute delight. The staff and chef are very friendly and made us feel very welcome....More

If I’m honest, I was a little reluctant! My parents raved about this place but they had no website, didn’t take cards, no social media presence, a rather dated menu so I wasn’t expecting much. How wrong was I. The steak pepe was AMAZING! and...More

Was in for dinner and the restaurant is lovely and cosy with great friendly staff. Having heard great reviews was a little disappointed. The mussels had unfortunately not been cleaned that well leading to a fair bit of grit and sand in the sauce and...More

Booked for a meal here and first impression was good. A very small restaurant with a good atmosphere. Unfortunately I did not feel our meal was up to the standard of previous reviews. My chicken was a bit tough and the masala sauce pretty tasteless....More

Small place but very cosy. Attentive friendly service. I had prawn and salmon fettucine, which was a very large portion but delicious. Large menu with plenty to choose from. Cheese board to finish, which was plentiful.

I don’t have a menu but they do seafood and Italian food and great steaks. The price is very reasonable. You will need to book as it is a very small restaurant.
