We always have a meal here when we're in Newquay. Never disappoints. Good food, good service in a nice environment.

called in on a Friday lunchtime at 1.45 to be told sorry we are closed so I can't comment any more. All 5 were disappointed though as we were told the pub was okay!!!

this pub is great value for money and the food is excellent especially the Sunday roast but I would advise you book as it is so popular.

Revisiting after a long time. Restaurant not busy but they still forgot one meal from our order. After three reminders the missing meal appeared an hour late. I am booking pudding for next Wednesday. A poor reflection of its former glory.
Booking advisable.. Had a lovely meal on our last night in Newquay and talking to others who were on holiday like us had regularly ate there so that tells you a lot. Couldn't praise the staff enough they were so welcoming and friendly
