The 2 evenings spent here were a delight to the senses. Comfortable seats, plenty of room between tables, and big tables too. The menu was innovative and fresh. Seafood risotto to share was the best. Great attentive friendly staff, knowledgeable & happy in their work. Wine list adventurous in places, traditional in others. I ususally choose the wine then decide... More

The menu offered a wide variety and my wife being vegetarian was delighted with the choices that were available. The staff and food were both of a high standard. My one disappointment was the wine list, whilst offering a wide range choice was a bit pricey.

Beachcombers, shell collectors, metal detectors must all love this beach! This must be one of the most natural and scenic coastal areas for visitors, without being a commercial tourist centre.

Victorian elegance, starched napkins and tableclothes, starched staff, but the food was modern british and a bit trendy, so there was a mis-match. Average customer age was 65++, but food was cool east London. Local ingredients were evident, and could have been served in greater quantity but simpler, but the chefs are obviously talented so they try out their creativity... More

After our experience at The Terrace, Headland Spa we were a bit apprehensive to have dinner at The Restaurant on our last night staying there. It turned out to be lovely. The skin on the belly pork could be better. Obviously it was shallow fried. The pork was soft and tasty. Other dishes were lovely as well, and prices were... More

The mussels and seafood mariniere are absolutely amazing. The zinfandel blush was top class and the staff are attentive and friendly. Recommend this place to eat if you adore seafood.

A restaurant with superb view of UK's - if not Europe's - best beach for surfing! Had an early luncg here, staff was very professional, helpful and friendly. They offered choices between brunch (up to 12pm) or lunch (from 12pm on) and explained all. Menu looks very appetising with reasonable prices for a five star hotel. Vegetarian option was very... Relaxed dining with a stunning ocean view of the the Atlantic Ocean forming a jaw-dropping vista towards the setting sun, this is a relaxed restaurant offering the finest Cornish breakfasts, dinners and Sunday lunches. There is a strong emphasis on serving locally sourced produce, such as Newquay Bay lobster or Carnanton Estate pheasant.
