Lovely small cafe right on the Harbour. Good Coffee and a quiet spot . Super view of all the comings and goings including some ducks and swans as we sat outside.Limited choice for children but great for adults .

Decided to pop in for hot drinks late in the afternoon. This was the only cafe open on the harbour front. We sat out side and had a pleasant enough tea and coffee and teacakes. Older lady serving was ok until she got our order wrong and brought out too many drinks. We were fine, we were not over changed... More

A quaint pub with low ceilings and great specials board. Friendly staff. I would definitely return next year.

We had toasted bacon butties here twice and really enjoyed them, great quality bacon and bread, the second time I did get served by the renowned lady who did look at me as though I was asking for something unearthly when I asked for toasted bacon butties, however I did get a smile from her a couple of times. Tis... More

Tinned mushrooms (!!!), really really cheap sausages and the hash browns tasted like they where fried in the same fat as the fish. Real shame as the location is great. Waiting staff where initially very rude but where polite enough when they brought the food out...

Stopped here for lunch and was greeted by a very friendly lady, please ignore all the awful comments about her, she is FRIENDLY, lol. The food was served quickly and it was piping hot aswel as delicious. The prices were OK for what you get. I would definitely go back to the Wheelhouse for a meal and I recommend everyone... More

Would never recommend this place, such a beautiful little trip to a beautiful little village ruined by an extremely rude member of staff (a elderly women with short blonde/grey hair.) We'd ordered 4 cups of tea and sat outside on one of the tables, my brother who had been at the chip shop came back with his bag of chips... More

As we walked into the cafe today we were surprised to overhear the member of staff complaining to some friends sitting in the cafe about the prospect of having to cook breakfast for us. When I ordered our drinks she then gave a cheer at the fact she didn't have to cook. Don't visit here if you want good service.

We arrived into Polperro after walking the coastal path from Looe looking for a light lunch and a drink and came across the Wheelhouse. Tables in the shade and an empty one so seemed great, as we approached the table a member of team walked out with his lunch and sat down at it so we walked off (when you... More
