We were lucky enough to catch a large table outside with a good heater so we didn't get cold. We enjoyed a delicious lunch of local produce, reasonably priced and lovely service. Perfect location right on the harbour in Port Isaac. Would definitely come go back.

Had a lovely lunch here when I visited Port Issac. The friendly staff also didn't mind when I accidentally spilt milk all over the floor! Well priced for area.

Very helpful Polish waiter, flying around like Basil Fawlty. Food well presented, The Menu books had imprints on the clear plastic and so you had to withdraw the menus to read them. Apart from that, the wines were a little over priced given the quality available, a very average Pouilly Fume was £38. But you are on holiday and you... More

Went today to Port Isaac and had our lunch in The Mote and it was great. We both had the burger. It's huge and so tasty. We both couldn't finish the fries as we were so full already from the burger. You know that the meat for the burger is freshly made, which is great. The service was brilliant and... More

Had lunch here whilst visiting Port Isaac and it was amazing. Husband had cod and chips and he said they were the best he'd ever had. I had mussels in an amazing sauce and they were fantastic too. The decor is lovely with nice views over the harbour. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We called in the second... More

For the only time aside of Christmas Day, Mr Hobo ate a lunch so satisfying that he didn't have any dinner that night. We went for a Sunday lunch at a time when the restaurant was filling up and placed our order early as suggested by the waiter - just as well, the venue was soon full. A great location... More

We sat outside on a warm October day to enjoy the view of the harbor and sip a pint or two. The staff were very cordial and helpful and made our visit extra nice. The outside area was directly on the harbor and the activity around us kept us occupied through two pints each. I can't wait to return.

This is a great place to eat, right on the harbour in the heart of the village. We went there for lunch last week and were not disappointed. We didn’t clock in there till 1.45pm and left at 3.30, which was no problem at all and we were not hurried out - even though we were the last to leave... More
