Went today to Port Isaac and had our lunch in The Mote and it was great. We both had the burger. It's huge and so tasty. We both couldn't finish the fries as we were so full already from the burger. You know that the meat for the burger is freshly made, which is great. The service was brilliant and... More

Had lunch here whilst visiting Port Isaac and it was amazing. Husband had cod and chips and he said they were the best he'd ever had. I had mussels in an amazing sauce and they were fantastic too. The decor is lovely with nice views over the harbour. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We called in the second... More

For the only time aside of Christmas Day, Mr Hobo ate a lunch so satisfying that he didn't have any dinner that night. We went for a Sunday lunch at a time when the restaurant was filling up and placed our order early as suggested by the waiter - just as well, the venue was soon full. A great location... More

We sat outside on a warm October day to enjoy the view of the harbor and sip a pint or two. The staff were very cordial and helpful and made our visit extra nice. The outside area was directly on the harbor and the activity around us kept us occupied through two pints each. I can't wait to return.

This is a great place to eat, right on the harbour in the heart of the village. We went there for lunch last week and were not disappointed. We didn’t clock in there till 1.45pm and left at 3.30, which was no problem at all and we were not hurried out - even though we were the last to leave... More

This is a very popular and busy gastro pub, however the staff are very friendly and happy for you to simply have a drink. The beer and cider is excellent. The food looks beautiful but not quite worth the price. We are not confident that the fish was fresh despite being able to jump out of the sea and land... More

We have visited this pub on numerous occasions for their cream tea and it has always been excellent. However, on our recent visit it was somewhat disappointing. The scones seemed to be a lot smaller and the portions of cream and jam smaller also. The jam used to come in a lovely open pot, it is now served in those... More

We visited twice during our stay in Port Isaac and both times were faultless. On our first visit we had the seafood platter which needs to be ordered in advance. This platter was enough to feed 4 and well worth the money. Staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you for some lovely meals. Will definitely be returning.
