We stopped by in this lovely tea shop just for a pot of tea and cake. We were greeted by very pleasant and welcoming staff who prepared our drinks and cake quite quickly. Both were a pleasure to eat and drink and the atmosphere was...very welcoming and relaxing. Would recommend.More

Sensational lunch at Chapel Cafe, in the austere surroundings of an old church chapel. Their 'famous' fish finger sandwich was worth the drive down from the Midlands to Cornwall alone, it was delicious! Courteous staff, clean toilets, well worth stopping here if you dont mind...not having a view of the harbour whilst scoffing your lunch.More

Lovely cafe, staff very friendly and totally welcomed our 2 dogs. We even sat up in the pulpit to enjoy our tea and cakes.

Lovely cafe situated in an old chapel close to the property used by Doc Martin in the TV show. The afternoon tea was top rate, served by friendly welcoming staff and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

We had lunch here today. The staff were friendly and our meals delicious. I had smoked salmon salad which was great, the dresssing on the side so not drowning in oil. My husband had a fish finger sandwhich which he also really enjoyed. Both good...value. Thanks you.More

Wonderful gem of a venue. Bed pads for your fur baby to chill on whilst you enjoy one of the many good value meals and treats on offer. We opted for cream teas, and two puppachinos for our furry family. The scones were so good...we purchased a box to bring home. Staff take time with the dogs, and I am sure our two really appreciated it. So good was the experience that on going back to the car, we told another group about the cafe.More

Port Issac itself is stunning and we fell upon this cafe by accident really. Super food and service and extremely dog friendly with beds and puppuccino’s. The cream teas are delicious we will hopefully be popping back before our trip is over 😊

Discovered this place on the same side of the harbor as Doc Martin's surgery and it was a wonderful find. The cream teas we had (mine was gluten free) were as tasty as any we have ever had and the ambience and service were top...notch. It appeared to be very popular with both tourists and locals.More

We came here last week for a Cornish Cream Tea and were not disappointed. We had a friendly welcome from the girl behind the counter who advised us to take a seat upstairs for a table for 4 to become free. After a 10 minute...wait we ordered the Fish Finger Sandwich, Cream Tea and two cakes for the children. The Fish Finger Sandwich was very nice indeed and I agree with some of the previous reviews, it was worth coming here for. All in all, the food was very nice, the people were friendly and attentive (especially if you have a dog which gets special attention ..... treats, water and a bed all offered) and the cafe is set in a lovely building, what's not to like !More

We popped in here to try out a Cornish Cream Tea, we were not disappointed, it was great. I actually ordered a fish finger sandwich, which was excellent. Balancing price, food quality and location, this is probably close to being as good as it gets!...Dog friendly too. What's not to like.More

Closed too early. Arrived for a Cornish Cream Tea at 4pm "We are just closing, you'll have to be quick!" The art of service...? Ntl, we were under orders, so indeed were quick. Great to have tea served in a pot and not a teabag...stewing in luke-warm water. A bit pricey, but everywhere is these days! Nice pipe organ by Hele kept in working order btwMore

We are a family of 4, 3 adults and a child. Whilst in Port Isaac we decided to have breakfast and settled on the Chapel Cafe. Chapel Cafe is located up a steep side road overlooking the Harbor. (No views from inside the cafe). It...is a Cafe, ice Cream and souvenir shop. Dogs are welcomed, so don’t be surprised to see one tucked under the table on a bed, there are around 10 tables and if you are lucky can have one in the pulpit! It’s a busy village especially when the TV film crew are in town. We had to wait a while for a table, once sat we ordered our food, the wait was short and our drinks came out first. Our breakfasts were plentiful and freshly cooked. We can recommend the small Cornish breakfast, the bacon sandwich and the vegetarian sandwich. The time of day we entered the cafe it was busy but don’t let that put you off, it was worth the wait.More
