Each time we visit St Ives we come to The Queens Hotel for something to eat. The food is still excellent and the service is friendly and welcoming. The reason we have given it a 4 is because (sorry for the criticism) the roast potatoes were not crisp and were a bit over microwaved but all the rest of the... More

We stayed here 4 years ago (almost to the day), for the Easter bank holiday! Whilst we didn't stay this time, the rooms then were lovely and clean, and we would have booked again this time had we not already been booked for a wedding else where. Anyway, we thought we couldn't be this far west and not book in... More

We were a but disappointed as because they allowed dogs we decided to go for tea. There's obviously a problem with lack of waiting staff as only one lady taking the orders and bringing the food out. They did apologise and said they would have to get another couple of checks out before our order could be taken. This ended... More

Stopped at the queens basically because we were hungry, normally go eat where there's a view, well its St Ives, you would wouldn't you, the menu looked good so took a chance, so glad we did, nice sized restaurant, clean, welcoming, good service, and the main thing, great great food, certainly know how to cook a steak. The only slight... More

This is a bold title. But I have eaten a lot of Sunday lunches around the Uk. I ate here last Sunday - and in my opinion you will not find a better Sunday Lunch. The beef is Boxeter and is georgous the vegetables are Devine. Perry has created a beautiful Sunday Lunch. You can eat in the Savoy or... More

One of the few spots recommended to us in St Ives where you can eat with a dog. We were not disappointed and came back twice during our stay. We felt very welcome, eat great food and had a fun time in this very family friendly place. Definitely recommended.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in St Ives that is central, great value for money, with comfortable rooms and a great breakfast then look no further. The Queens Hotel might not be everyone's ideal but don't miss out on great value, great service and really friendly staff. It also offers some excellent menu items for lunch and... More
