An excellent restaurant, good choice and ample portion sizes. Can be busy during high season so may have to wait for a table

Had a wonderful stay here with my wife. The pub is a lovely old building that has a fantastic owner who is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. The restaurant serves up good quality food, we had dinner and breakfast here and was more than happy with it. All in all a great place to... More

after a week in tintagel we decided to have dinner here before heading home the next day... Sadly this time of year this one's only open Friday and Saturday evenings but it was worth the wait. a very charming and timeless pub to have dinner which has the right mix of atmosphere with candles and 30s and 40s music played... Can recommend this boozer. The owner is a top bloke (apart from the fact he's from Birmingham). We love it. We spend more time in here than at home. Very friendly place.

We had tried other pubs in the area but not very impressed and we hadn't been in here, we were not disappointed. Lovely old interior friendly staff and excellent food and cornish beer we will return.

We called in as we didn't like the other pubs in the area as they were too touristy, and we're glad we did. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home. We also weren't sure how many of us would be eating at the pub, and kept changing the number of prospective diners, but the staff coped... More

We were staying on holiday in nearby Boscastle and decided to try somewhere different. Oh my goodness! We were not disappointed. The food was gorgeous and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The pub/restaurant is really quaint and very attractive too. Definitely a place to return to next time we are down this way.

We arrived very early, before opening time an were the only people there. We got a lovely welcome from the owner/proprietor. We loved the atmosphere in the place and the childen were thrilled to see the musical instruments, including a Double Bass, left out from the night before. We were sorry not to be staying longer as we would have... More
