What a place and what a gorgeous tasteful piece of plaice I enjoyed for lunch! And a pudding of course. Staff were young but very professional and personable. Highly recommend this refurbished delight.

Lovely food, very good service and big car park. The pub does not look great from the outside but inside it is huge and nicely decorated and although on a busy road you don't hear any traffic. Good bread, appetiser and petit four were delicious.

It's a personal thing of course, but I found the food only average given the price and billing the restaurant gives itself

Excellent evening with a group of friends - drinks in bar area followed by dining in a private area - lovely plates used and food and service was great - all in all a fab evening and would definitely recommend and come back again.

I would say this is more of a fine dinning experience and whilst I am sure they would cater for children eating with you it isn't really a family restaurant so to speak.
