Gorgeous Sunday roast. We both picked roast beef & Yorkshire pudding. I read the reviews about the beef being quite rare & asked to have mine a little more cooked. Came out perfect for me. The Yorkshires are amazing! We had two courses & the only complaint was that my partner found the knife wasn't sharp enough to cut the... More

Just fantastic! Stumbled across this gem by complete accident. I received a warm welcome the minute I walked in the door from a wet and windy January afternoon. A fine selection of well kept real ales are complimented by great food prepared in an open kitchen. I had the finest piece of fish for my lunch that I can ever... More

Having been for a celebratory dinner here with friends before and now for a wonderful Sunday roast I can definitely say this is a great place to eat. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the portions are big and tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Also, if you get chance to have their scotch egg, do, it's divine. And... More

One beef roast, one veggie roast, both utterly gorgeous. Ridiculous yorkshires, really good ales, what's not to like.

Arrived for lunch last week and was greeted pleasantly and offered a very reasonable lunch menu, we both decided on the pate to start which is where everything started to head down hill. After about 40 mins our starters arrived with a mound of pate and two tiny slices of toasted bread (no complaints as the large amount of pate... More

Went for a pre Star Wars xmas eve dinner today, the food was very tasty as always and the service quick and efficient. My only little gripe is that the portion sizes can be small. I had the duck leg@£14 and my guest had the Burger. While both were very tasty I have to say the size of the duck leg... More

Have been here before. Couple of good visits and a shocking last one that resulted in one of the owners phoning me afterwards as the manager in my opinion was just out of his depth. So back again for a works do that could have been perfect but was nearly totally spoilt by the same manager again. The good stuff... More

Group of 10 for works do. All aspects of our experience were faultless. Food was amazing, prices very reasonable, service and atmosphere great. Highly recommend and will be back for a Sunday lunch if that's the standard to expect.

Stopped by here on a busy Sunday expecting to be turned away, however we were quickly seated by a lovely gent! The roast was...amazing! The beef was cooled to perfection and the yorkies were bloomin' massive! The mother who had stupidly already eaten so just had the soup (which was also great) said it was the nicest roast she'd ever... More

The Oddfellows is a stone's throw away from Exeter's main shopping centre. This is a very friendly unpretentious gastro style pub, with a sociable, down to earth atmosphere. With a fantastic lunch starting at £10 for 2 courses, but still offering some pub classics like fish & chips, but one properly! Fine Ale, in the Good Pub Guide 2014 & 2015, awaiting 2016 result! Great wines! Just take a load off and visit us!
