Cycled from Starcross to Exeter Quay. Stopped at the Venezia coffee shop situated on the quayside. The choice of ice creams is unbelievable. From Jaffa cake to chocolate fudge to lime cheesecake. The choice is endless. If you like your ice creams then go here. Other food is equally yummy. The lady who runs it must be a master baker.... More

Had lunch with another family here so eight of us in total. We ordered pasta dishes, a salad, burger and fish fingers off the kids' menu. For all of including drinks it came to under 70 quid. Service was friendly and as it was a nice day we are outside on the picnic benches. The kids' portions were massive (the... More

I have been around the Quay a number of times when in Exeter, but this is the first time of eating lunch here. My wife, daughter & grandson chose it for the grandsons taste buds, but I was not really keen on going in. I was further put off by the sticky menu's. However, I have to say the Avocado,... More

Great place for food and drink and their seafood linguine is to die for the best I have ever had. Conveniently located on the Quay in Exeter I am always made very welcome even though I might be on my own.

We booked but being a very cold evening in January the place was very quiet. No matter, we were soon welcomed and warmed by great food. The Roma pizza with a little additional goat's cheese was brilliant and I would recommend the Venezia polpette. We had starters and mains and a couple of drinks each. The bill was £50 and... More

We went here for a family lunch with friends and it soon became clear why it was empty. The restaurant was freezing cold with a small heater in between some of the central tables. Service was certainly NOT with a smile and staff were rude! We won't be returning! Food was ok but definitely nothing to rave about!

We held our works Christmas party at the Venezia, the atmosphere and ambience were superb with a great choice of menu, we were well looked after by the waiting staff and the drinks were a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this establishment for any occasion.

We visited Bar V on New Years' eve, they had live musicians singing & playing during dinner which created a nice atmosphere. We ate from the NYE special menu, three courses & a glass of sparkling wine, a good choice of dishes to cater for a tastes. Tables cleared after dinner to make space for dancing with a mix of... We had a fabulous staff party here - the buffet was great, the staff were very helpful, the bar was well stocked and the dance floor and equipment were ideal. Thank you!

Filled with Venetian romance and Mediterranean spirit, Bar Venezia sits on the tranquil quayside, next to the River Exe. The extensive menu not only offers Italian classics, but also Portuguese, Spanish, French and Greek delicacies, which are perfect to enjoy with river views on the ample al fresco seating. The Mediterranean buzz kicks up a gear with the regular dance classes and club nights, making it a true slice of the continent.
