We had lunch. Good range of traditional food, well cooked and presented. Large portions at reasonable prices. Pleasant staff. Seems to be popular with locals which is always a good sign. Clean crockery and cutlery. Nicely decorated.

Popped in for a sandwich and cup of tea. Very pleasant. Not rushed. Casual atmosphere. Sandwich was full of filling and came with crisps and salad. Friendly waitress. Parking tricky, had to use the pay and display. We would go back.

Called today 1st November and had a lovely lunch of fish and chips and ham eggs and chips. Such beautifully cooked food, not at all greasy, and the biggest pot of tea each. Lovely staff and well recommended on all levels. It was very busy and we had the last table and that was at 1.30pm. We will certainly return... More

We visited for a late lunch after not liking any Lynmouth options. I used to be local and enjoyed the fantastic value on offer at Lacey's - huge portions for your money. I was slightly disappointed by my panini which was much smaller than they used to be and didn't hold together very well so lots of my Brie and... More

We had fish and chips. It was OK but nothing to write home about. It was also quite expensive, so quite disappointing really😏

On last year's visit to Lynton we had a Lacey's Burger one day and a scone, jam and cream on another. This year they kindly allowed us to share a Lacey's Burger followed by the scone with a massive dollop of cream and jam (put on in that order as we are in Devon). Absolutely perfect and just what we... More

As we entered we were invited to take a seat and advised by the lady that she would take our order. We were the only customers in the place but the lady busied herself tidying up behind the counter for over ten minutes. She apologised for keeping us waiting but there seemed to be no particular reason why she could... More

Went here on a previous north Devon holiday in 2013 and decided that we had to again this time. It did not disappoint! The food was lovely, very tasty, good portions and very well priced!
