We were in Plymouth for a flying visit and wanted a late afternoon/early evening meal. We noticed this restaurant and, seeing as we love Turkish and Greek food, thought we would try Kapadokya. It was brilliant! The service was superb, and the quality of food and menu choice was excellent. We will definitely eat here again if we are in... More

What an absolutely amazing restaurant! This place very personal to me and my wife as we had our first date here 6 years ago back when it was Shirley valentines so we thought we'd bring the whole group from the wedding here for dinner. Amanda and her team bent over backwards to accommodate us, moving the whole seating plan to... More

This is a restaurant that we have visited many times and we would always tell anyone who was going to Plymouth to try it. It was a Greek/Turkish restaurant and the food was splendid - particularly the chicken ouzo. Then when we visited last week we discovered that Shirley Valentine's is now described as a Turkish restaurant. This meant that... More

We turned up without a reservation and they were unsurprisingly booked up, however they giggled some seats and managed to squeeze us in without making us feel rushed. The food was superb as always, the service swift and friendly. WHENEVER you are in the area pop in, it's by far the most pleasant atmosphere and best food for miles and... More

My partner and I recently visited here and we found the food to be really lovely. Our only real niggle about the restaurant was we weren't over fond of the atmosphere. Can't really place my finger on why, but it was a bit uneasy and claustrophobic. Other than that it was nice :)

We stumbled across this place and extremely glad we did. In one of the oldest buildings in Plymouth it was tastefully decorated with the old, exisiting features and a cosy feel. Super friendly and attentive service. We had the meze munch which was great value, big portions, good selection and was hugely satisfying. Will definitely be going back if we... More

Wonderful food with authentic tastes of Turkey. Lots of choice even for the most difficult to please palate. We had a family group who all enjoyed our meals although the Keleftico was deemed the best.
