My partner took me here on a date and sang the praises of the place as she used to work there back some years ago... even she was disappointed with the service and the food. We were given no meat knives. The colour off of the glasses was flaking off on our hands and the skin on fries could have... More

Was staying close , contacted a friends and got given this as their recommendation. Did not disappoint, they were able to squeeze us in at short notice. Food although relatively expensive was good value for money, with hasty service they provided good quality food with great presentation. All were pleased about their food. Would recommend.

We have previously eaten here to celebrate my husband's 50th and son's 18th, and dined on several other occasions over the last 3 years. We booked a table here two weeks in advance, to celebrate double birthdays (my 51st, our son's 19th). I have only ever written a couple of reviews on here, & usually don't complain, but there was so... More

Semi regulars here for breakfast, occasionally lunch. We go on days off when the children are in school. It's quirky inside, relaxing and friendly. The food is cooked with fresh ingredients, and is tasty. The veggie breakfast doesn't offer substitute sausages - instead they serve falafel, basil salt tomatoes, spinach and hollondaise sauce as well as toast, beans, eggs, saluted... More

Excellent food, delicious wine and fantastic service. We had a most enjoyable meal and evening with our daughter and son in law. It was our first visit but certainly won't be our last. Don't take my word for it, try it yourself you will not be disappointed. Best food I've eaten out in a long while.

Three of us met for a weekday supper. This was a very quiet setting, interesting menu, a very good example of modern cuisine.

The food was excellent and the staff know their job e.g they know what wine to recommend etc which is so unusual in menu places. It's situated in the midst odd place but who cares if the food is good!

You can always guarantee an excellent dining experience at Rock salt. This is a well run establishment. We are regulars and have never been disappointed by any of our visits. The menu has something for all tastes and if you want a slight different twist you are listened to.

Firstly I would like to apologise for taking so long to write this review - been a busy few months! I visited here in November with my partner. It was his birthday and I bought him here as a surprise As he had never been before - and I had been raving about it. The staff were fantastic right from... More

Went there in the dead period after New Year when many places just close. Was pleasantly surprised. Interesting and successful combinations of meat, seafood and oriental flavours. A very good Romanian Sauvignon blanc. Quick, polite service. Not cheap - but worth it
