The food was tasty and plentiful. Never left feeling the need for more. Must go again soon . we arrived early afternoon, by the looks... More

This restaurant is consistently our first choice for fish in Plymouth. The advice from chef always results in amazing fresh fish. Don't be put off with the price as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. We will be visiting time and time again.

We've been to Platters a number of times and have always enjoyed it. Our last visit was no exception. The decor is very quirky but that is part of the charm. There are too many soulless homogenised places out there; this is not one of them. The food here is predominantly fish which has been sourced locally, is consistently fresh... More

The fresh fish selection here is second to none. The staff helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and the service prompt. The interior is a little quirky but that all adds to the ambiance. Loved it. Would go back again.

If you want seafood in Plymouth this is the place to go. Amazing service with an old fashioned vibe. The fish and chips was amazing and even the peas and home made tartar sauce was amazing. Open all day and welcoming for families and Young children.

But there has been something wrong with the organisation of the service for a year or more. We like the feel of the place, we are blind to the bizarre colour scheme, we enjoy the range of fish and seafood and how it is cooked. We always get on with the other regulars and most of the first timers. With... More

This has to be the best place in Plymouth for a fun meal, atmosphere and fish. I love fish as a Coeliac sufferer and the staff are knowledgeable, nor fazed by people like me and lightning fast on service. Come here!
