The ale and atmosphere in this traditional pub are excellent. Very friendly staff, who could not be more helpful.

Booked a table for evening meal. Excellent service and great choice of menu. Made to feel very welcome by the staff. Restaurant is separated from the main bar which has many original features, and has live music on certain nights.. Will definitely return.
Lovely pub dating back to the 1500s just have a look at all the memorabilia on the walls has a restaurant but we didn't eat here but visited twice nice and friendly with live music on Tuesday evenings
A tiny pub in the back streets boasting history. Pleasant staff & a lovely atmosphere. We visited it twice during a 3 night stay as was just a lovely place to chill.
