I mention the... More

This is my second time there. Both over lunch. Had the lovely crisp battered Brixham Fish (and chips). Food was very reasonable and delicious. View of Oddicombe Beach and the sea from the restaurant was amazing, especially on a warm day on the terrace. Service was great and special attention was given to our dogs with a fresh bowl of... Had a late lunch here - awesome service, and great food. I had the battered fish and chips and my partner had the crab sandwich. Delicious!

Outstanding views. Beautiful location looking out over the sea, would love the chance to stay there but a bit expensive unless for a very special occasion. Staff were very welcoming. Will definitely visit again when in the area

Location is 5 stars, at least it is on a fine sunny day. Not so good if its wet! Best to arrive by Taxi - parking is quite difficult. Unless you are a resident you have to use the Beach public parking which is not big, but only £2 all day! (Hence full) Food orders have to be placed at... More

My wife and I popped into here for a coffee. Sitting outside on the terrace it makes for a lovely setting overlooking the bay...tables and chairs tho look a bit worse for wear and I think it would be a good idea to get rid of the benches and replace them with chairs....most surprised not to be supplied the complimentary... 4 of us booked Sunday Lunch. The food was OK+ (£100+ incl tip) but the simple act of getting there is a nightmare. The entrance road is a very steep hill which is single track most of the way; as you drive past the restaurant and head towards the Public Carpark (£2 allday) the road narrows so that cars exiting and... Open for lunch and dinner, the Cary Arms is a 5 star inn with luxury accommodation and exceptional panoramic sea-views. Choose from dining outdoors on sunnier days or a cosy table in the inn by the fireside. The Conservatory is perfect for larger parties and can be booked for exclusive use subject to availability. Reservations for dining are always recommended if you are not staying. Lunch is served from 12 noon to 3pm and dinner from 6.30pm to 9pm. If you haven't reserved in advance, we will always try to find you a table but we can't guarantee it. Relaxed and friendly, the lunch menus include a choice of soup and lighter snacks as well as sandwiches. In the evening, dining is more formal and the location very romantic. Menus include classic gastro-inn dishes featuring the best of fresh, seasonal, locally produced ingredients including excellent fish. Great wine list and a choice of local ales. Well-behaved children and dogs welcome. An adjacent car park offers pay-and display parking.
