Lovely evening staff where super attentive and nothing was to much trouble. Service was just the perfect pace and staff were well presented polite,friendly and helpful. First time here today, food was exceptional and fantastic service by Callum and the team. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back. £20 for 2 courses and portions were very good, great wine too!

Excellent service and fantastic food. We visited for a family birthday and enjoyed the Steak deal. Absolutely delicious. Great value. Friendly service. They even put candles on our cake. Happy birthday Ollie as well!

Been to this restaurant several times, but this time tried the £20 lunch menu. The selection was great and the portions were generous. As always, the food and service was first class. The restaurant was busy, as you would expect for an establishment of this...calibre, but the atmosphere was relaxed as all the staff know exactly what to do and when. We wandered in without a booking on a Saturday evening at about 8pm, not really expecting to get a table, however we got lucky! The meal was excellent.. prawn cocktail and steak for me and scallops and steak diane for my wife. Everything was really...excellent. We didn't have dessert. The wine was superb, and the team were happy to let me try one of the reds before ordering - always a nice touch. The service was excellent throughout with the team being knowledgeable and friendly. They also all looked like they were happy to be there and enjoying their work - which is always a pleasant surprise! All in all I think we lucked out and found an excellent restaurant. When we go back to Torquay we'll make sure we book as I've no doubt this place will get busier and busier..More

Quality food and outstanding service. We’ve dined serval times at Ollies, and every time has been outstanding. It’s our favourite and a must if visiting Torbay.

Oysters, plump; prawn cocktail, wholesome, plump and moist; a lobster bisque, flavoursome; soft shell crab,...melt in the mouth and spicy; crispy beef, crunchy and packed with flavour. My mother, sister and I dined at Ollie's restaurant today to celebrate my sister's birthday. We had eaten at the restaurant before, but not visited on a Sunday and wanted to try the Sunday Roasts. On arrival, we were taken to our table and ordered...drinks - a glass of house white, a soft drink and a gin & tonic made with 'Ollie's own gin'. We had the choice of a selection of roast dinners (pork, beef chicken, nut roast) or the steak menu. We all chose roast beef and were not disappointed. The meat was delicious, beautifully cooked and plentiful. We were given two substantial bowls of freshly cooked vegetables between us (and could not eat it all). The homemade yorkshire pudding was huge and, again, beautifully cooked. Although we could not finish our main courses, we still had our 'pudding space', so ordered two sticky toffee puddings and an affogado. My sister and I were torn between the sticky toffee pudding and the vanilla and chocolate baked alaska. We opted for the (gorgeous) sticky toffee pudding on the basis that we'd just have to return to try the baked alaska! The service was friendly, welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be back. Ollie's is definitely one of (if not the) best restaurant currently in Torbay.More

Took new friends , had a lovely meal , but felt left out slightly , as no party bits given to our table , and it was news years eve!! our bill was over 300quid for 4 of us , so a couple of party...bits , wouldnt have gone a miss!!! especially , when every other table was laid out with fancy glasses and party poppers etc !! We were lucky enough to celebrate the arrival of the New Year in real style at Ollies. Superb food, super attentive staff, wonderful entertainment and a rocking good party until the early hours. Best new years eve ever!
