Went here with a group of 8 for afternoon tea at Easter time. Staff could not be more helpful. Food as usual was above and beyond as was the service. Really lovely choices of sandwiches which are different and excellent cakes and beautiful scones which were warmed, fruited and plain for everybody, and fabulous clotted cream. excellent venue.

We booked afternoon tea for two expecting a lovely Edwardian tea in this lovely restaurant. Instead we were given a table in the bar area outside of the main restaurant. 4 tables were there with very little space between each one. To make matters even worse right behind my chair were 4 children being occupied whilst family members were at... More

Dining room was cold in April and needed more heating but, nevertheless, it was a charming room. Food was mediocre. There were only six diners in the large room but our simple order of pasta took 45 minutes to appear.

My wife and I were treated to a visit for our Christmas present and what a present. Our starters were unique and pleasant, the main course, rib eye, was perfect and the chesses board was excellent. The whole evening was a very pleasant affair.

We took our daughter there for her first afternoon tea last weekend. My wife and I have been there a couple oftimes before in the last few years and I can safely say the high standard has not dropped. Beautifully decorated and comfortable, and an afternon tea that is better than the Ritz, which we had a couple of years... More

I had a birthday present of enjoying a cream tea lunch at Langtry Manor. Lovely freshly made scones, and a choice of speciality teas. Very good service. I will certainly be going back there again.

We stayed here for one night while visiting Bournemouth for a concert. It was such an interesting hotel with lots of information about its history and former owner Lillie Langtry. The room we had was very small but tastefully decorated and comfortable. We had a lovely breakfast included in the price in the elegant dining room and the staff were very... More
