Licking the groynes on the beach tastes better... Best avoid like haemorrhoids!! Truly just don't go, plenty of independents that are more worthy of your ££'s and they have passion for what they do

Good food , service a bit slow , not enough staff to cope with high number of customers but nice location on the beach .

Usual standard but expensive small portion. Staff have poor understanding of English so ordering a problem. Great views from Windows seats. Ok for daytrippers and holiday makers.

Took the family for fish and chips. Was quite busy but a table was ready almost immediately. Radu who severed us was great, friendly and willing to have a laugh with us. Food was good as expected.

The restaurant was nice and clean, we were greeted by a lovely lady, and the food was tasty, but I was somewhat disappointed. It wasn't particularly busy, but our waitress seemed to forget us, she was lovely and friendly, but we had to ask twice for our drinks and for some mayonnaise, eventually asking another member of staff. By far... More

We went to Harry Ramsdens as we thought it was supposed to be so good. Boy were we wrong! On arrival, staff were unprofessional, miserable and unhelpful. After placing our order I was brought a dirty cup to go with my pot of tea. When the food arrived we had to ask for cutlery. The 'twice cooked' chips were barely... More

Wow! what amazing fish and chips served here. This restaurant is conveniently situated across the road from the beach. I was staying in bournemouth for a few days, and had lunch in the Takeaway section everyday here. We had to have our lunch early, in order to avoid not get caught up with the busy lunch time long queues which... More

The same as Harry Ramsdens anywhere really... Although it does have some nice views towards the sea and Bournemouth pier.. I avoid it during weekends and holidays because the queues are just silly... Service is good and the menu is good value for money..

Description
Harry Ramsden's serve the same great quality fish and chips today that they have been since 1928. The brand was established 80 years ago, when Harry Ramsden opened his first takeaway store in a hut in Guiseley. His top-quality fish and chips brought people from near and far and it wasn't long before Harry's became the most famous fish and chip shop brand in the world. The fish is freshly prepared in Harry's kitchens daily and has that distinctive flavour revered the world over. The menu includes the world-famous battered fish with its closely guarded secret recipe, as well as an extensive choice of mouth-watering options and a fantastic children's menu, to satisfy all the family. There are 8 Harry's restaurants across the United Kingdom, from seaside locations such as Blackpool and Bournemouth to city centre restaurants in Southampton and Glasgow, so you're never far from a Harry's.
