Fabulous lunch here at potters with a friend. Made to feel very welcome. Staff not pushy and in your face, I like that! Loads to choose from on the menu, jackets are how they should be.....from the oven, not warmed! Quick service too. Different fillings . Yummy. Large portions so again you get what you pay for, good pricing. Room... More

I took my children for lunch last week and encountered friendly and efficient staff despite it being a busy lunch period. There was a friendly and engaging atmosphere, the facilities were clean but best of all was the quality of the food. Can't recommend highly enough and will absolutely be returning

This place always produces good food, the breakfasts are great and lunch is always interesting if you can get a table. Very popular with locals as not standard cafe. Good service and food at reasonable prices.

This is a nice café set in the centre of Dorchester next to Waitrose, the food is good and freshly cook every time, there are some fab homemade cakes and great coffee. Well worth a visit.

I come here often when I'm in the bright lights of Dorchester (!) and firstly the service is always speedy, polite and friendly without being over familiar or obsequious - a clever balance. However, it's the waffles that pull me in, best I've ever had, they are crispy and sweet on the outside and light and fluffy inside with tasty... More

Their coffee is excellent and their service is first class. It is quite a small cafe, but has upstairs and outdoor seating... More

If a cafe, restaurant is always used by locals, then,as the saying goes...."It is a sign that the business is really good. The Potters is always full of local people. It is friendly, homely, attentive to individual needs, dog friendly, with good food and drinks, papers provided, lovely log fire in winter, pretty courtyard garden to the rear for the Summer... More

Visited with my daughter and her newborn baby. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Good food and lots of happy locals enjoying their lunch.
