Unlike the 1* reviewer, this place was buzzing and lively with chatter and verve on a busy Saturday night. I love those rustic places that don't try too hard with the decor and let the food do the talking. I had no idea what Ethiopian...More

Stumbled upon this bizarre Ethiopian restaurant almost by accident. The standard seemed to be to have the mixed vegetarian platter (£15) plus a meat dish so we chose a lamb and cabbage dish. Quite amazing with a good glass of Merlot for £3.50, you really...More

Excellent, delicious food, we had the vegetarian platter, with the gorgeous injera (pancake). Lovely way to share food. Very reasonable, great for vegans. The waitress and cook are really friendly. We loved the coffee too and the baskets and items form Ethiopia.

This restaurant is absolutely incredible! I've been here 3 times now and every time my experience has been brilliant! The food and drinks are so cheap, especially for Brighton! You can get a sharer vegan platter between two for 15 quid. I've only tried one...More

Managed to bag the last table in this intimate little place. Our waitress was lovely but the speed of service was dire. I can only imagine that they had just the one person out back doing all the cooking to go alongside the one person...More

As a huge lover of Ethiopian food, I'm sad to report that £15 for a veg meal with very small servings and only one piece of injera is quite expensive. Flavors were on point, but drowned in heavy oils. For the amount of food I...More

My friend and I had the vegetarian selection. Really flavoursome and different to anything I'd had before. Good service, laid back atmosphere. Brighton needs more down to earth places like these!
