This was my second visit to Ole Ole. 3 of us went there for dinner last night. We were at the 9pm sitting. We didn't want a big meal, so just ordered some tapas. Chorizo, prawns, squid, meatballs etc - all utterly delicious - along with cava sangria (again, lovely). The food was gorgeous but the entertainment was a revelation!... More

On passing this restarant in the Lanes, I decided to book for myself and my daughter and managed to get the last table for that night. (Friday 5thmay). Service was really good, we were booked in a team 7.30pm. The restarant started to fill up. We chose 4 tapas dishes and the seafood paella. So good, it was a bit... More

Honestly, they're doing the bare minimum. Tasteless tapas and paella that's just...well, rice. As I write this, there's a woman bellowing tunelessly into a microphone. In Spanish obviously. Go to Casa don Carlos instead. Better food. And music.

We went for a tapas lunch. The kitchen was very slow. The ladies serving were doing their best but it lead to many unhappy customers. The food was okay. Basic tapas. Nothing special.

Authentic tapas, not! Each tapas was as greasy as the last. We tried the calamari, prawns, meat balls, potato salad, fried cheese. We felt nauseous and left half the food. It was a good atmosphere, Spanish singing and a dancer entertained the enthusiastic crowd, but we had to leave, panicking that we may have throw up!

We took shelter from the bustle of the lanes in this eating house, we fancied tapas as we had no rush and wanted to order a selection of dishes. We were not disappointed as the food was very good, the selection is ok and the stand out dish was the calamari which was so fresh, light and succulent I could... More

The food we had was lovely but we found the menu a bit limited and they had run out of a lot of the dishes.

I visited this restaurant with friends on a Saturday evening and it was such a unexpectedly great evening. The food was good, the atmosphere was great with live Spanish singers gave it the edge. The menu was simple yet plentiful, the only downside was the limited gluten free option. The restaurant was packed but the staff still managed to be... More

We've been here three times now and it's been excellent every visit. We have dined here mid-aftenoon Saturday every time and it's completely quiet. This means no need to book and very good service 'cos no-one else around. Food was tip-top, Sangria was too.

I had a wonderful Saturday evening here with my wife during a weekend away in Brighton. For the 2 1/2 hours we were there we felt we were in a great little tapas bar in Spain, but probably somewhat cheaper (given the fall in the £ after the stupid Brexit decision!). Tasty tapas dishes (all of them), a very enjoyable... More
