This is a MUST VISIT restaurant for anyone who happens to find themselves lucky enough to spend some quality time in the great city of Brighton. I visited this place twice even though I was only there for 2 nights, and I just regret I did not go back for lunch before leaving on Sunday afternoon (I was rushing to... More

As a Brightonian I wasn't aware of this restaurant until I stumbled across it ion TripAdvisor. We went for my husband & friends partners birthdays & we were all impressed. The tapas is different from other Spanish restaurants in the town, but delicious. We all particularly liked the black pudding, the Pollo & Spanish omelette. The house red was very decent... More

We were visiting close family In Haywards Heath and having a day out in Brighton. We had an excellent dinner with around 2-3 tapas each plus bread and salad. The tapas arrived two by two and built up to cover the table. Can't remember the names of all the tapas but in particular we all loved the potato dishes (the... More

I took my partner here for his birthday and had the most amazing evening. We were treated like family, with the manager Mattia straight away making us welcome and suggesting his favourites off the menu. We were seated by a lovely smiling hostess who was attentive but didn't hover. My partner is pescitarian and there was a massive selection of... More

A friend of mine was visiting Brighton from Thailand and it was his last night before he returned to Asia. We booked a table for 16 people (or thereabouts) before hand and my friend placed a small deposit to reserve the table as it was such a large group. We arrived a little later than anticipated but the staff were... More

It is the second time I have been here, first time about 3 years ago. Food was great again, a selection of tapas, and a chicken and seafood paella, recipes from around Spain. Good wine, not the cheapest place to eat, decor needs refreshing, better inside than out. One of. Their specialities which I had last time was the whole... More

I'm not sure what everyone is excited about. The restaurant atmosphere and decor is dreadful! Kinda like a horrid chinese restaurant with bubbling wallpaper that was meant to look artistic. Our table was sticky from not being cleaned properly. We asked THREE times to have it cleaned!!! Nothing was done about it. One of their dishes were out of stock.... More

Dear riverhead66 Besides the fact that I prefer critics to compliments as compliments don't help improvement, I have to admit that this one hurt a bit. Yes, we were in a rush to get you seated and an error of miscommunication caused your table to be set up before a proper wipe. But it is also true that after you... More

We ate Lunch at this restaurant after having visited several times before. The restaurant is slightly away from the main tourist/shopping streets and is quite large and we have never had a problem getting a table. All of the Tapas we ordered were very good, the prices are reasonable to.

Had a fantastic birthday evening. Nothing was too much trouble. They made gluten free bread and an amazing gluten free chocolate birthday cake for me. I was spoilt rotten by the staff. Thank you for making my birthday so special. Xx

Description
Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.
