Just arrived in Brighton and had an hour to wait before we could check in to our hotel. Popped in for tea and cake to this delightful Deco Style Tea Room. Greeted with a smile, directed to a table, handed menus in an instant. Went up to the counter to check out the cakes and was quickly told what they... More

Everything was yummy,I am a tea connoisseur so was very impressed with my pot of tea.Scones were large, home made & tasty served with cream & jam.Friendly staff, clientele very nice, child & dog friendly. The set afternoon teas looked very scrummy as did the cocktails & select wines being served.Lovely music,40s big band like I think, nice atmosphere, good value for top notch fare.

Booked here as we were visiting Brighton and we were looking for somewhere we could visit with our dog. They were very welcoming to Teddy and even presented us with some homemade dog biscuits - which he loved! The afternoon tea was beautifully presented - we had to bring some home. They have a particularly impressive tea menu which is... More

Found this place online after googling gluten free and vegan afternoon tea in Brighton. Was a great find. Catered for myself being gluten intolerant and my vegan friend. Cool interior with unlimited tea on offer. Great selection of teas also. Lovely sandwiches and savouries as part of afternoon tea. In the first photo the one on the left is vegan... More

Good service and a nice cosy tea and afternoon tea shop. We were staying around the corner and went twice during our three day stay. Lovely cakes and great tea.

Have visited Metrodeco a few times and live the teas they serve all loose tea leaves. Staff friendly and welcoming. My reason for 4 stars I find the chairs a bit hard!

We only had tea and cake but loved the quirky style. Tea was yummy and refreshing and a good selection of cakes. Interesting 'regulars' come and go and it was fun to sit in the unusual chairs. If you want to get a real feel for Brighton have your tea here!

When we arrived the table that we had reserved was ready for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were very busy and rushed off their feet but extremely pleasant throughout. We got three pots of tea. One of these came out rather cool but they were happy to replace it. We noticed it cooled down again very... More

There's not a lot one can say about this place that hasn't been said already in other reviews. The decor may not be to everyone's taste but the atmosphere is lovely, the food is great and their selections of teas (served in a proper tea pot and China tea cup) is excellent. I had their house blend when I went... More
