We had to wait about 10 mins for our table. But wasn't a problem as we were hungry and knew once in we could eat straight away. Staff were rushing around helpful though, packed at first then thinned out, buffett was hot around 4 main dishes a few starters, what we had was good and can't complain as we go... More

Yeh its not great Indian food but if you just want a load of curry and a Kingfisher it can't be beaten. If you enjoy the papadums and pickles there loads of pickles to choose and I've had far worse onion bhajis. Yes the meat curries are generic and are not particularly strong......but there are plenty of fresh green chillies... More

Finally tried this place today and will be back again soon. Food tastes great for the price and as it's a limitless buffet you can really get your monies worth.

My wife and I stumbled upon this buffet while staying opposite at Premier inn. We were pleasantly surprised at the price and quality of the food. Everything was hot and well cooked. The meat curry was tender and did not taste as though it had been sitting around for hours. I particularly enjoyed the Tandoori chicken and salad and pickle... More

Our experience was better than many others who've reviewed Bombay Lounge. Ok, it's not remotely posh and the choice of buffet isn't big, and all dishes will be better-cooked & tastier in a la carte Indian restaurants, of course, but it was precisely what we were looking for - a reasonable lunch in somewhere a little quirky, independent, in Brighton.... Greeted by a tiny seating area. The food was really bland, onion bhajis had no taste, the "meat curry" just tasted of tasteless beef, the chicken curry was 75% water 25% oil. Weren't asked if we wanted a drink until half way through our meal. No check back either. Would not recommend and will not return. Save your time and... More

Definitely get what you pay for! Was lured in by the price, as so many others. I should have known better! Really bland and unappetising generic Indian food, extremely watery, unlovingly put together. The only sort of saviour was the tandoori chicken. Was not offered a drink until we had almost finished eating. By then I said not to bother... More

Was pulled in by the price, £3.95 for a take away box from the buffet, so I thought 'why not'. Wish I hadn't now. Every curry they had to offer from the buffet was just a soupy, watery glop, each one more tasteless than the other. I went to help myself to some daal, but it was so watery that... More
