Absolutely fabulous afternoon tea served in this gorgeous little tea shop, fantastic atmosphere and lovely staff. This was truly the best afternoon tea I have ever had - thank you so much, only wished I lived closer!! Excellent experience from booking via email to enjoying the charms of this wonderful little gem!

We had a private booking for my friends baby shower and it was absolutely lovely. The venue is small but cosy and the service is fantastic. There was a wide range of sandwiches along with tea, scones and cake. We were stuffed. I am coeliac and had gluten free sandwiches, scones and cake. All the cakes were gluten free and... More

Fantastic! Cannot rate highly enough. Brilliant communication throughout the organisation of the hen party. Vas and co were fabulous on the day and the afternoon tea was delightful. Wonderful selection of teas and all the cakes were gluten free (plus scones and sandwiches were available as gf too!) Will defiantly return and can certainly recommend this little hidden gem of... Up a side street! Noticed the advertising board and changed our minds about getting a coffee! Smelt so aromatic in the 'parlour'! We decided to have a scone with our pots of tea. Beautiful scones with jam and cream. We opted for the English breakfast tea, which was so full of flavour. Highly recommended! Do not miss this gem. You... More

Grabbed a Groupon Voucher for Afternoon Tea for 2 at £14.95, well worth the money, providing. 4 beautifully fresh sandwiches per person, 2 huge slices of cake, 2 scones with clotted cream and jam and a choice of tea or coffee of your choosing. Service was friendly and excellent. Tucked away in a side street off the Western Road, it... More

Wanted something a bit different to big chain offerings and found this on Google. On a turning off the main road, it was dark when we visited, and the turning does not look very promising but persevere, it's worth it. Lovely cup of tea, warm scones with cream and jam (nearly as good as my wife's). Freindly service and some... More

If you want traditional afternoon tea with fine bone china and sandwiches with crusts cut off then don't visit here. But if you want a friendly, comfortable and welcoming tea shop with good food, huge slabs of cakes and a massive selection of teas then this is the place for you. We had afternoon tea with lovely sandwiches, scones and... More

Difficult to find as not in a Main Street of Brighton, a talk of tea is nevertheless a gem of a place. Small and cozy, decorated to perfection in warm and welcoming colours, it's already a pleasure from the second you walk in. The waitress was so nice, very helpful in the choice of cakes and teas. Really knew her... More
