After a busy day shopping in Brighton, we stopped for afternoon tea and we were not disappointed. Excellent service and very good cakes and ice cream. No rush from staff to move us on unlike other establishments we have been to. We will definitely be returning when in the ares again

The afternoon tea was a wonderful treat, delicious sandwiches and the best cakes in Brighton. There was a good selection of 'vegetarian' cakes (gelatine free) to choose from. Both girls serving were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely want to visit again, highly recommended.

Lovely service, gorgeous food, would definitely eat here again. The staff are really friendly and attentive. Particularly recommend the French onion soup. The macarons are sublime, I took some home with me.

I have purchased patisserie from the shop before, which were excellent. The breakfast was rather disappointing. Expensive and the food not very hot, both the drinks and the food. The staff were over stretched and customer service was poor.

This little cafe near Brighton station is a gem, serving amazing cakes, patisserie, and pastries. Nice decor, peaceful (no annoying loud music blaring), friendly staff and good service. Children and dogs are welcome. And they make the best almond croissants in Brighton.

This is a small cafe on the walk down from Brighton Station to the City centre and seafront. You have one small step to climb from the pavement to gain access. The window display is colourful and the cakes just as good as they look. The coffee is sensibly priced and as good as any available nearby. It is well... More

10 of us visited Julien Plumart for afternoon tea. We'd paid £18.50 each and this consists of a drink, brioche sandwich (ham, Brie, chutney and salad), followed by cake with icecream and 2 macaroons. The desserts are works of art! It feels such a shame to eat them! Everything is served beautifully and the staff are really helpful. The only... More

I recently visited the cafe with my daughter and partner, we were sat on a table near the counter and an older French lady with glasses, who I'm assuming was a manger, started shouting at her staff and being abusive in front of her customers, the coffee that she made was also appalling. It was very embarrassing and unprofessional and... More

This is a very nice cafe with an old fashioned feel that ensures you are looked after. They also have a wide range of cakes and pastries to compliment their excellent coffee. Everything is very well presented and the service is refreshing.

I am not sure from where to start... It has been an absolute pleasant surprise to find and try some desserts. There is no way to chose one out of all the ones I have tried! I believe the secret behind them was that they were very fresh, ingredients were bonding and texture was perfect. Staff was very friendly with... More
